Tonalli Craft : Tending the Soul© is a speciality that brings depth to the healing work you already do. Working at the soul level is a calling. This on-line course will fulfill one's interest to understand and define the soul at a deeper level (Level 1), from a personal and world soul viewpoint. Level 2 offers a personal Soul Tending practice (must complete Level 1). While completion of Levels 1-4 certify you to be a Practitioner of Tonalli Craft©. The entire course spans a year-long period. See below for class outline. Level 5 is optional mentoring to help integrate Tonalli Craft© at any level.

Trauma affects our emotional, psychological, physical and spiritual bodies endangering our energetic wholeness: the vibrational tone of our tonalli or soul. Tonalli Craft© is a pathway and ancient healing way to restore our natural frequency, to re-enliven our emotions and balance our mind, body and spirit. Our soul's vibrancy will awaken from the amnesiac state brought on by trauma, the forgetting who we are, and awakening us to our soul's code for our purposeful right to be and have a pathway with life.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The modern western view of soul is limited. The tonalli, an ancient ancestral view of soul, is vast and expansive. As a healer, patients benefit by opening and becoming more receptive to the healing gifts you already bring. As a layperson, this is an opportunity to know thyself at the deepest level of your being.
This is a rare opportunity to learn an ancient healing way of perceiving the soul as the blueprint to one's life. The first two levels of the course are designed to impart a comprehensive view of the soul or tonalli (a Nahuatl term that gives a fuller and richer way to understand our soul) and six practices to tend to your own soul matrix and healing. Level One and Two is open for anyone with interest in self-healing.
In Level 3 you are welcome to learn the ancient shamanic ways and deepen in the art of Tonalli Craft© without becoming an initiated and certified practitioner of the Craft of Tending the Soul.
To become a certified and initiated Tonalli Craft : Tending the Soul© Healing Practitioner you will learn an ancient shamanic craft to tend to the souls of others. This work greatly enhances your healing modality and practice. You must complete Levels One through Four and the in-person shamanic transmission and initiation that spiritually activates Tonalli Craft©.
A Consciousness Raising Experience Awaits
In this course you will have experiental and interactive learning, talks and lessons. For the Certified Practitioner Training, Level 4, you will have practicum, clinicals and in-person transmission and initiation.
Reading material will be suggested for all levels and required in Levels 3 and 4.
FUNERARY RITES: Tonalli Craft: Tending the Soul© is a precursor course to prepare to engage in the specialty work of facilitating Funerary Rites. To have an understanding and skill level of the Tonalli Craft© enhances your gift to work with the soul of the deceased. Facilitating Funerary Rites means that you are a helper to Ancestralize your loved ones, making them healthy and healed ancestors. This work heals our families, our people and our planet.
If you are interested in being a Funerary Rites Facilitator, the Tonalli Craft© course is required in this format. Funerary Rites require additional study and initiation in order to do the work of a psychopomp. Please contact Deanna for more information on this offering. * I use the words tonalli and soul interchangably although Tonalli carries a more comprehensive view than what many of us learned about soul in our religious upbringing. In my craft, they are interchangeable. For the purpose of this course, I am calling it by its Nahua name to connotate the broader life force informer that it truly is. I have been trained in the Nahua tradition.

LEVEL ONE: Soul Wisdom as defined by modern and ancient peoples. From the tonalli perspective, develop a deeper knowledge of soul’s nature. Level One is required for each consecutive Levels. Reading list optional. 3 Hours Mininum.
LEVEL TWO: Tending Your Soul: Learn and experience Six Practices to tend to your personal soul and develop your worldly senses. Level Two is required for each consecutive Level. 4 Hours Mininum.
LEVEL THREE: Tonalli Craft© Practitioner Training I - On-line learning to deepen your knowledge of pre-elemental and elemental forces that configure the universe. Learn the ancient shamanic way of seeing and listening to the world soul and the human soul through enriching soul-connection practices. 10 Hours.
LEVEL FOUR: Tonalli Craft© Practitioner Level Training II is the alchemical process of tonalli/soul healing for your clients. Both on-line instruction, individual and group supported Course Practicum, Clinical Practice and In-Person Clinical and Shamanic Transmission for tonalli healing, Initiation and Certification as a Tonalli Craft© Healing Practitioner. 25 hours on-line. 1 Week in-person. Travel Required.
LEVEL FIVE: Sacred Mentoring - Receive one-on-one Mentoring for ongoing support. Check out Sacred Mentoring Packages. You can start today, during the course or after the course for ongoing Tonalli Craft© : Tending the Soul support.
