  - Preparation:  Have water, candle, sticks (8 total),

     feather, blade or knife, incense (copal or sage)

OPENING THE WINDOW OF IMAGINATION

 - Is Imagination our lower world guide or upper world guide?

 - Prompt:  Journey to the Lower World or upper world or both and ask "What is Imagination?  Who is Imagination?  Who is my Imagination?"

- A RADICAL WAY OF BEING : Open to Our uncolonized imagination, a mythic intelligence,  that doesn’t tell you what it is; it reveals different things to whoever is beholding them.  

 

STORY - Winter, historically and before, has been the time to tell stories. Everything slows down. Find a story or myth that resonates with you and share it with the group.

DREAMING: Dream may be a gift from the "Dream Maker" 

Prompt: Journey to the Lower World and ask if this is where you might find "The Dreamer or Dream Maker?"  Where does the Dream Maker live? In the  upper, middle or lower world?  Ask your spirit guide for help to meet the Dream Maker.

 

ELEMENT OF WATER: Fear & Courage

REMEMBERING WHO WE WERE BORN AS : Ways of other cultures, as examples:

 

-- The Kogi - their children spend 18 years in total darkness to continue to learn what it is to be a human being and their relationship to life. The darkness is a cave like the womb of the mother. The stones hold the intelligence of earth since its inception. They learn from stone.

-- The Hopi - upon entering this world, a newborn is introduced to the mother, with a full ear of white corn tucked close to her body until the 20th day. Then she is introduced to the father, Sun. Until that moment, she has been growing in a darkened room. When she appears she responds to the sun like a corn plant shoot emerging from the earth.
